The story of the mansion The edifice near the Balaton-Upland National Park was built in 1927 as the mansion of the family Stolte. At that times orchards covered the sorrounding hills. The Great Depression made an end of the gardening and also the staying of the Stoltes. A bourgeois family became the next owner from Budapest. They applied the house as a weekend relaxing area and enhanced the property with a swimming pool and a tennis court. The nationalization brought decline both for the mansion and the orchards until 1992 when the planning of the hotel started and eventually a new three storeys building has been built.
